In case if the Sum Insured in your health insurance gets exhausted during a policy year, this additional cover refills Sum Insured for the same period unlimited number of times. This is over and above Automatic Restoration, which refills SI only one time during a Policy year.
When your health insurance Sum Insured gets exhausted due to hospitalisation treatments midway during the policy period of one year, the automatic restoration or refill or Rebound benefit restores an equivalent amount of the Sum Insured for the remainder of the policy period.
In case of Automatic Restoration, the refill of Sum Insured is allowed only one time during a Policy Period. But, Unlimited Automatic Restoration (UAR) allows refill of Sum Insured any number of times.
